1. Hugh Laurie is sooo cool!
2. He has a british accent, which fits since DW is a British Show.
3. Hugh Laurie is a great actor.
4. He's just all around cool.
Those are reason's enough for me.

Fare thee well, Doctor 10
I'm a moron. I still cry over the line, "I don't want to go."
I will miss David Tennant, as the Doctor, very much! The man is a brilliant actor, but I am excited to see some of the other shows he will play in. I'm also hoping to catch the made for TV movie "Hamlet."
Ten things I will miss the most about the Tenth Doctor:
10. The actor himself, the man with a marvellous smile and mischievous eyes.
09. The writing. As much as RTD could get a bit melodramatic, I will miss the writing style.
03. Donna. I know she was gone before the show ended, but Donna was such a strong companion. She wasn't a "lover" type like Rose or Martha. Donna had that solid "friend" quality about her that, frankly, will be missed as MUCH as the Tenth Doctor.
02. The design of the Tardis. Since Tennant was my first Doctor, that interior, and exterior, is very dear to me. I will miss it
01. And lastly, but most importantly, the phrase "Allons-y." He wouldn't be the tenth doctor if he didn't say silly things like "Allons-y, Alonso.
(Yes, I'm aware that that's only 5, but 10 just seemed like the right number for him.)
You will be missed Doctor. *salutes*

Writing
One thing I've found about Carol Plum-Ucci is that she has this fantastic ability to make you want to write like crazy. the most recent book I've read of hers is called "The Night My Sister Went Missing." It was a really intense book.
I love how she focuses most on character growth. All of her main characters in all of her books have something traumatic happen to them to shake them out of their mediocrity.
I always feel inspired after I finish reading her books, whether it's to sing, write music, or just to write something in general. What a fantastic writer! I love being inspired.
